Idaho Supreme Court Justices
The Idaho Supreme Court consists of five justices elected statewide on a non-partisan ballot to staggered six-year terms. The Chief Justice is selected by a majority vote of the justices to serve a four-year term.

Chief Justice G. Richard Bevan
G. Richard Bevan was appointed as the 56th Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court by Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter on September 1, 2017. He was born and raised in Twin Falls, graduating from Twin Falls High School in 1977. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from BYU, graduating in 1987 from BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School and was admitted to the Idaho State Bar that same year.

Justice Robyn M. Brody
Justice Robyn M. Brody has been a member of the Idaho State Bar for 28 years. She graduated from the University of Denver, earning a law degree and a master’s degree in international business. Justice Brody moved to Twin Falls with her husband after law school and practiced law there for 13 years. Justice Brody and her family moved to Rupert in 2010 where she started her own law firm. She was elected to the Idaho Supreme Court in November 2016. She is now serving her second term of office.

Justice Gregory W. Moeller
Justice Moeller graduated from South Fremont High School (St. Anthony, Idaho) in 1981. After doing volunteer work in Japan for 18 months, he graduated magna cum laude from B.Y.U. in 1987, earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He then attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at B.Y.U., where he received his juris doctor degree in 1990. He was admitted to the Idaho State Bar that same year.

Colleen Zahn was appointed as the 59th justice of the Idaho Supreme Court by Gov. Brad Little on June 1, 2021. She was sworn in on July 1, 2021, and is the fourth female justice to serve on the Court.
